Fabric Descriptions
Sew Dynamic Fabric Bases:
Recycled Athletic French Terry (grainline):
- Athletic French Terry is smooth on the front side, with small/fine loops on the back. This fabric is drapey and I would describe it as a french terry version of brushed jersey.
- ❗ Please note AFT has small runs along one selvage. For the most part they are entirely in the selvage, but they can go into the print by 1-2". The price reflects this known flaw.
- ♻️ 22.5 recycled plastic bottles per yard
- 🇺🇸 This fabric is milled and printed in the US
- 92% REPREVE® polyester; 8% Spandex

- Brushed Jersey is smooth on the front side, and brushed on the wrong side. The brushed side gives it a warm-hand. It has a jersey construction, therefore less recovery and compression than an athletic knit fabric.

- Recommended Uses: Leggings, sports bras, shorts, dresses, hoodies, jackets and joggers. Keep in mind the ABP is brushed and can feel warm. In hot climates, I recommend AK 265 instead of ABP for work out attire. The brushing also gives it less drape. For dresses, I would stick with body con or circle skirts and not gathers.
Recycled Swim Nylon (grainline):
- Swim Nylon is smooth on both sides, and has a cold hand. Unlike typical swim, this fabric is not slippery. This fabric is printed directly onto the fabric (instead of on to paper and heated onto the fabric like my polyester bases).Printing directly onto the fabric creates more saturated and vibrant coloring. As a result the colors on my nylon swim can be different than the colors on the other polyester bases.
- ♻️ Recycled Nylon can not be made from plastic bottles. Repreve recycled nylon is made from post-industrial waste from nylon carpet producers and nylon fiber producers.
- 82% Repreve Nylon; 18%Spandex

- Swim Poly vs Swim Nylon: Choose poly if you would like the coloring to match the other poly fabric bases, or if you plan to wear it in a chlorinated pool and don't want the coloring to fade. Choose nylon is you want bright saturated colors and don't plan on high chlorine use.
Recycled Swim Poly (grainline):
- Swim Poly is smooth on both sides, and has a cold hand. Swim Poly is a tricot construction, and can be a bit more slippery than the Swim Nylon. The coloring of swim poly is the same as the other poly fabric bases, making it perfect for matching outfits. This fabric is chlorine resistant and the print won't fade after high chlorine use.
