Athletic French Terry US (grainline):

  • 📝Athletic French Terry is smooth on the front side, with small/fine loops on the back. This fabric is drapey and I would describe it as a french terry version of brushed jersey.
  • ❗ Please note AFT has small runs along one selvage. For the most part they are entirely in the selvage, but they can go into the print by 1-2". The price reflects this known flaw.
  • ♻️ 22.5 recycled plastic bottles per yard
  • 🇺🇸 This fabric is milled and printed in the US
  •  92% REPREVE® polyester; 8% Spandex
  • 290 gsm
  • 58" wide
  • 30% horizontal; 25% vertical stretch
  • Recommended Uses: hoodies, joggers, jackets, and shorts.

 Jersey Knit US (grainline):

  • 📝Jersey Knit is smooth on both sides, but not slick like Athletic Knit. It has good drape, and works well with gathers and pleats. It is a jersey construction, therefore has less recovery and compression than an athletic knit fabric.
  • ♻️ 15.9 recycled plastic bottles per yard
  • 🇺🇸 This fabric is milled and printed in the US
  • 92% REPREVE® polyester; 8% Spandex
  • 205 gsm
  • Moisture Wicking and antimicrobial treatment added
  • 58" wide
  • 50%, 4-way stretch
  • Recommended Uses: tops, dresses, skirts, shorts, rompers, half and full zip shirts, golf/tennis shirts, and underwear.

Athletic Knit (AK) 265 (cross grain):

  • 📝AK 265 is smooth on both sides, and has a cold hand. This fabric is printed on the cross grain.
  • ♻️ 16.7 recycled plastic bottles per yard
  • 83% REPREVE® polyester; 17% Spandex
  • 265 gsm
  • Moisture Wicking treatment added
  • 58" wide
  • 75%, 4-way stretch
  • UPF 50+
  • This fabric is milled and printed in China
  • Recommended Uses: Leggings, sports bras, shorts, dresses, hoodies, jackets and joggers.

Athletic Brushed Poly (cross grain):
  • 📝ABP is brushed on both sides, and has a warm hand. This fabric is printed on the cross grain.
  • ♻️ 16.7   recycled plastic bottles per yard
  • 83% REPREVE® polyester; 17% Spandex
  • 265 gsm
  • 58" wide
  • 70%, 4-way stretch
  • This fabric is milled and printed in China
  • Recommended Uses: Leggings, sports bras, shorts, dresses, hoodies, jackets and joggers. Keep in mind the ABP is brushed and can feel warm. In hot climates, I recommend AK 265 instead of ABP for work out attire. The brushing also gives it less drape. For dresses, I would stick with body con or circle skirts and not gathers.

DriRelease (grainline):
  • ❗ Please note the drirelease coloring is not as saturated as the other fabric bases. It has a more muted, vintage look. Please see pictures.
  • 📝Drirelease is a light weight fabric. It is soft, has good drape and not clingy. This fabric is printed on the grain line.
  • ♻️ Recycled: TBD
  • 82% recycled polyester; 11% Tencel; 7% Elastine215 gsm
  • 60" wide
  • 40% horizontal stretch and 35% vertical stretch
  • This fabric is milled and printed in China
  • Recommended Uses: Tshirts, dresses, shorts, skirts, and lounge pants. Please keep the stretch % in mind when choosing patterns, you may need to size up.

Swim Nylon (grainline):
  • 📝Swim Nylon is smooth on both sides, and has a cold hand. Unlike typical swim, this fabric is not slippery. This fabric is printed directly onto the fabric (instead of on to paper and heated onto the fabric like my polyester bases).Printing directly onto the fabric creates more saturated and vibrant coloring. As a result the colors on my nylon swim can be different than the colors on the other polyester bases.
  • ♻️ Recycled Nylon can not be made from plastic bottles. Repreve recycled nylon is made from post-industrial waste from nylon carpet producers and nylon fiber producers.
  • 82% Repreve Nylon; 18%Spandex
  • 190 gsm
  • UPF 50+
  • Approximately 59" wide
  • 75% horizontal and 65% vertical, 4-way stretch
  • This fabric is milled and printed in China
  • Construction: Circular Knit
  • Recommend Uses: Swimwear, rash guards, shorts under dresses, dresses and workout tops.
  • Swim Poly vs Swim Nylon: Choose poly if you would like the coloring to match the other poly fabric bases, or if you plan to wear it in a chlorinated pool and don't want the coloring to fade. Choose nylon is you want bright saturated colors and don't plan on high chlorine use.

Swim Poly (grainline):
  • 📝Swim Poly is smooth on both sides, and has a cold hand. Swim Poly is a tricot construction, and can be a bit more slippery than the Swim Nylon. The coloring of swim poly is the same as the other poly fabric bases, making it perfect for matching outfits. This fabric is chlorine resistant and the print won't fade after high chlorine use.
  • ♻️ 12.5   recycled plastic bottles per yard
  • 82% Repreve Polyester, 18% Creora Highclo
  • 195 gsm
  • UPF 40-50+
  • Approximately 59" wide
  • 70%, 4-way stretch
  • This fabric is milled and printed in China
  • Construction: Tricot
  • Recommend Uses: Swimwear, rash guards, shorts under dresses, dresses and workout tops.
  • Swim Poly vs Swim Nylon: Choose poly if you would like the coloring to match the other poly fabric bases, or if you plan to wear it in a chlorinated pool and don't want the coloring to fade. Choose nylon is you want bright saturated colors and don't plan on high chlorine use.

Boardshort (grainline):
  • 📝Boardshort is a woven fabric with minimal stretch. It is smooth on both sides. This fabric is printed on the grainline.
  • ♻️ 12 recycled plastic bottles per yard
  • 90% Repreve Polyester; 10%Spandex
  • 160 gsm
  • UPF: 40-50+
  • Approximately 59" wide
  • 20% horizontal
  • This fabric is milled and printed in China
  • Recommend Uses: Boardshorts, running shorts, jackets and bags.

Notes:

Fabrics are printed with a digital sublimation technique on a white base. The wrong side of the fabric is white.

Flaws: Printing errors, and small holes  (less than a dime size) within 4" of the selvage are not considered flaws. White dots, smaller than 1/8" are also not considered flaws.
